Deputy CEO of Tortola Pier Park Limited (TPPL) Zoe J. Walcott and JTV reporter Cathy O. Richards did a quick “run through” of the kiosks to let the public know that they will be open on Sunday, June 30, 2024, for the One VI Poker Run.
Most of the businesses had plans to create special menus and promotions for the day.
Tropix Cocktail Bar
The first stop was at Tropix Cocktail Bar, which is engaged in event planning, bartending, and catering.
Tropix Cocktail Bar is one of the favourite hang-out spots for people during the evenings and weekends.
Fast & Fresh Flavours
Both Zoe and Cathy agreed that the food when ordered at Fast and Fresh Flavours “comes very fast.”

At On the Rox, Zoe and Cathy were treated to jello shots. Over 200 jello shots will be available on Sunday for customers.
One of the hot-selling drinks at One the Rox is the painkiller, which can come in different flavours, including, pistachio, mango and strawberry.
Zoe shared that the mango painkiller is a creeper.
The passion fruit painkiller is a favourite for the marinas, which is On the Rox biggest clients.
One the Rox also offers a bartending service.
Bartender Robbie said he doesn’t sell food but people still come to the business to have their lunch and relax with a drink, which is why he promotes the menus of the nearby food businesses.
Liberty Call
Zoe and Cathy’s call to Liberty Call was too early as the business wasn’t open as yet.
The food court specialises in seafood.
D’s Kitchen
Oxtail is always on the menu on Fridays at D’s Kitchen, where the food is cooked with love.
The kiosk offers a variety of Caribbean food,
According to Zoe, KFC has nothing on the chicken served by D’s Kitchen.

All African delicacies including yam and plantain foo-foo, spinach and ochro soup, fried rice, fish, goat meat, beef and of course chicken can be found at Mama Put African Restaurant, which was ready for the One VI Poker Run.
Customers can also order African beer and other drinks.
Island Sizzle
The place for authentic Asian cuisine that is “finger-licking good” is Island Sizzle.
Noodles and chowmein, fried rice, soups, finger foods, vegetable dishes and drinks are some of the items available.
Some of the foods are also Guyanese, including eggballs.
Taste the BVI
The final stop for Zoe and Cathy was Taste the BVI, which was recently upgraded.
