I agree ???????? because at the end of the day, the hospital ???? done barely have doctors and nurses who can treat the patients that been waiting for over an hour or even more than that. I was down there the other night n they kept me in the there jus to sign in and receive medical attention from them. And I heard that a lady was there waiting for over more than 2hrs and 30mins in the hospital for a doctor to come check her out. It's ridiculous. Even if a person having an asthma attack, it should not have to take for another family member to shout in the hospital to get their attention.

Ok. Health got the biggest slice of the limited budget pie, but will residents enjoy a higher level and quality of care. Do we have the right people leading Health and Social Services function to maximized budget efficiency to deliver the most/best services to the most people. Ron P. Let’s used this lion share of the budget to deliver better services. The Westminister system is a highly flawed process which allows people who won a popularity contest to lead functions they don’t know pullet from fowl about. The governmental/governing structure needs to be revamped, ie, voters/electorate must have a say a directly in who becomes Premier, we need to put educated, trained, and experienced people with managerial experience to lead functions, etc. The VI interestingly has a practice of putting non-managers to lead management positions and that practice comes at a high cost, ie, Public Works, Water and Sewage, Health, etc. low productivity and under-delivery of services to consumers. Here is a new flash. Policy expertise/chops don’t necessarily makes one a good leader/ manager. Policy and technical expertise, and leadership and management are relatively two different animals. Can one be an effective leader without being an effective manager? But the BVI equate them (technical/policy expertise and leadership)as one and the same.
