VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Kathleen Brownsden followed up her record breaking performance of two weeks ago by breaking her own record when the final race of the HLSCC/ Highland Spring Race Series in Virgin Gorda was run this morning, October 19, 2013.

Brownsden ran 12:21.54 for the new record which bettered her last race time of 12:50.47. Vivian Toro was the second female in. 

Reuben Stoby won the open 2-mile race ahead of Maxford Pipe while Emrol Amsterdam came third.

The Top Male athletes were Reuben Stoby and Maxford Pipe while the Top Females were Kathleen Brownsden and Christina Yates.

The Top Primary School male and female were Jadiel Gibson and D'Neigh Williams respectively.

The Top Secondary School athlete was Keanu George.
