BREWERS BAY, Tortola, VI- Brewers Bay, usually referred to as the 'forgotten city', has been given a facelift.

It was a few days ago that the Waste Management Department cut a large track of bushes along the roadway in Brewers Bay located on Tortola.

Waste Management Manager Mr Marcus E. Solomon confirmed the project and noted that “there is a relationship between an unclear and unkempt place and increased littering.”

The Registration Apprenticeship Training Employment and Development (RATED) programme has been removed from under the control of Mr Solomon and placed back under the Premier’s Office.

Last year, residents from Brewers Bay lambasted the Government for ignoring them after Topical Storm Philippe had destroyed many of the roads when ghuts were overflowing and disrupted roads, beaches and businesses.

Thank you VENO. We are grateful to the Deputy Premier Hon. Lorna Smith for her recent visit to Brewer's Bay. Which no doubt moved the process. Along..Thank you Mr Solomon and his hard working team who did an excellent job.
