PURCELL ESTATE, Tortola, VI- In yet another public brawl that has been caught on camera, a group of men was seen engaged in a fight outside a strip club in Purcell Estate last night, March 5, 2022.

In the 19-second video shown to our newsroom, at least five males could be seen attacking another male on the road outside the strip club.

A number of persons could also be seen witnessing the fight.

Eventually, an individual could be seen running into the fight crowd and grabbing the individual being taken advantage of.

The other persons in the fight then begin to disperse when the video ends.

It is unclear if a report of the fight was made to police and arrests made, as Police Media Liaison Diane L. Drayton did not respond to our queries up to the time of publication.

Public fights becoming the norm?

Two separate public fights were caught on camera on Friday, March 4, 2022. One involved at least 2 adult females at a school sports at A.O. Shirley Recreation Grounds and the other, which involved students of Elmore Stoutt High School, took place near to the High Court/House Assembly Building.

Police said they had received reports of the fight at A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground and had responded to the reports.

    These onlookers who encouraging rather than breaking the damn thing up are the real cowards and the real problem...Much respect to the one brain conscious, fearless guy that jumping and break it up....Ur good man... Mis understanding between humans will happen scuffle will happen but it need to broke up quickly. Thank God there was no weapon. No death....Men really need to act like men..

      Like a bunch of untrained wild animals that got loose from a cage before they were fully trained. The only other thing I will say is good thing no one got shot up or no one ran home to get a weapon.

        It’s not a colour thing - it’s a youth thing. Young men brawl until they grow up. And there are youth gangs in every country and city - fights break out on the regular anywhere and everywhere. But it’s a small island so it’s next door or down the street or around the corner. ‘They make everyone think that all black folks are the same’ Everyone does not think that way and only an idiot would draw such a conclusion.

    this is a classic example of youths who are just cowards, Look it took 5 to fight one. Now, do not get me wrong i do not condone this behaviour however, it shows that our young people are weak at heart thus the reason all resolve problems with guys. This little punks and cowards, none of them have hangs to fight and none to humbleness to know when they lost a fight and move on.


    now everything is a gun. AND TRUST YOU ME for every young you think you know is street man. Highly like most of them have a Gun or access to a Gun. This is scary, thus i keep out of these young people way. because 80% of them have a short fuse as well.

    Strip club bars attract a classless crowd of people that resolve conflicts physically and fatally with weapons sometimes.

    Restaurant bars attract a classy crowd of people that resolve conflicts by intelligent discussions with good food, drinks and service.
