“There’s some of you young ladies are submitting now to some of these young guys, who tell you what to do, how to do it, when to do it… y’all are too young for that, ain't nobody owns you this ain't no slavery,” he added.

No possessiveness in relationships- Skelton-Cline

He said even in marriages, couples ought not to relate to each other in a possessive way.

“You be careful about relationship that isolates you from friends and folks… if you are in a relationship where you are being abused verbally and physically, you better get out quick in a hurry, seek help [and] assistance,” he added.

“Don’t you submit and surrender to that kind of trauma,” he further cautioned couples.

This being going on for decades. People sending verbal threats when they cannot get their way and that includes married people where one spouse threatens to end the marriage over land and money. Brurrrr

You may not like Claude, but he is absolutely correct. I lived in an abusive relationship for 11 years because I had children with the abuser. I moved away for a number of years so that l could get rid if him. Smartest choice l made. I was able to get an education in the interim and regain my freedom and self esteem. Ladies, the abuser will tell you all manner of nonsense like you cant survive on your own and no other man will want you because you have kids. The Devil is a liar
