B&B's baseball team narrowly loses to Anguilla

THE VALLEY, Anguilla- A junior baseball team from the [British] Virgin Islands is participating in the Baseball Invasion Tournament in Anguilla from October 6-8, 2023.

The B & B's 13-16 Baseball Team came up against the hosts in their first game on Friday, October 6, 2023, and put in a tough fight, although losing 4-5.

The VI team includes Jamarli Ramirez, Kh'mahnni Anthony, kiran Hinds, Jesus Shulterbrandt, D'mori Richards, Devonte Henry, Mervin Thomas Jr., Johari Sebastian, Antwan Stevens, Rannoi Cain, Manuel Smith, K'moi Nibbs and Julian Maduro.

The Manager is Raymond B. Fonseca aka ‘Chi Chi’.

 The Coaching Staff includes Dr Emmanuel King Bastios, Sirron Scatliffe, and Cristiano Vinzin.

Sponsors

The team’s presence in Anguilla has been sponsored by Walkers, Joma Properties, Nanny Cay, Alcogal, Quitano (Mr Elvin Grant), Marckenson Air Conditioning, VI Motors, Penn Medical, Said Department Store, RTW and Dr the Honourable Karl Dawson (R1).

B & B is an affiliate of the Sea Cow's Bay Basketball Club which started in 1994. B & B came on stream in 2018, receiving sponsorship from its summer programmes from Unite BVI and the BVI Olympic Committee.

      The majority of them were trained by Dee Malone she does a wonderful job with her players only 2 were Lefty players

      Looks like CheatChi famous for this. He did the same thing to the college. Took the while volleyball team. The thing is the dude cannot coach. Jackie is the one with the skills and knowledge.

    If the coach is so bad, did anyone address him? Why take to social media? The praise should surround the fine young men for their efforts. Put some positive in the mix!!

    Good morning all, thanks for the negative fire, build me up, more, I will like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful people of the BVI for making this Dream come through for out youths, to Coach Daria and Coach Lefty,.your kids were Excellent, continue to build, to the Parents that not only allowed us to take your child but jumped on board and chárter a plane to be there, qudos to you, one love all, including Hon Dr Dawson-stay Bless all!
