PEASE ESTATE, Tortola, VI- The long-awaited new medical facility B & F Medical Centre located in the Road Town area is here. B & F Medical Complex owned and operated by businessman, social activist, commentator, musician and former politician Alred C. Frett aka ‘AC’ is set to open a new medical facility located on the dual carriageway going east in Pease Estate on the main island of Tortola.

While an official opening ceremony is planned for December 1, 2024, the facility is in operation. The three-story building, with an elevator and adequate parking and adds to the skyline of the city, offers a variety of services to the public.

All the medical services needed

Currently, the new B & F Medical facility offers an eye doctor, dentist, hygienist, general practitioner, and gynaecologist among other specialists.

They also offer mammograms, colposcopy, vaccination, digital X-ray and pharmacy services, along with having a doctor always on hand at the facility, according to someone familiar with the operations.

"I welcome such developments, as I believe in collaboration and strategic partnerships. Working together, we can achieve a lot," Minister for Health and Social Development Hon Vincent O. Wheatley (R9) told our News Centre.

B & F Medical Centre has been providing medical services in the Virgin Islands (VI)  for years, with an outpost in East End. With the issue of healthcare costs and other challenges in the VI, this facility is a welcome addition to the options for residents and visitors alike.

Efforts to get a comment from Mr Frett were not successful.

Congratulations! However, those chairs look like they will be so cold from the AC. The sick and the elderly can not sit in cold chairs.

Congratulations are in order to Hon. Alred Frett. I have been waiting a long time for this facility, and I will certainly support B&F. Hon Frett is one of my favorite persons in the Territory because he is guided by the Spirit of God and who God blessed no one can hamper. It is through the Blessings of God that this facility is complete. Despite all of the obstacles the facility is complete. may God continue to bless A.C.Frett.
