ASPS & Cedar School rain goals on opponents in School League
The Maroons showed no mercy on their smaller and less experienced opponents, Pelican Gate, scoring almost at will, but missing a host of other chances en route to staying unbeaten in Group B, with a 7-0 victory.
Othniel Gillings scored twice as did Mario Carter and Akeem Paddy, whilst Latriel Williams was also on the score sheet.
Kirk hat trick propels Cedar Green
In Group A, a Blake Kirk hat trick in the 3-0 win over Joyce Samuel Primary sent Cedar Green joint top of the standings, alongside First Impressions.
In U7 action, First Impressions tucked into second place behind Montesorri with a 1-0 win over Cedar Green, who stay in third spot, whilst Begrado Flax are fourth following their 5-1 win against Agape. Drekailly Findlay scored three and there was one each for Mason Rigobert and Joluya Morton.
In the U12 Division, Cedar Green went top on goal difference from Alexandrina Maduro, thanks to back to back wins against Pelican Gate and Leonora Delville.
Azarni Callwood scored twice and Alex Salter once in the 3-1 win over Pelican Gate, with Khamari Smith on the score sheet for Pelican Gate.
Callwood and Salter (2) also scored in the 5-1 victory over LDPS, with further goals coming from Darci Reich and Nici Haycraft. Justin Mckie scored for LDPS.
Marshall & Farrington double for ESHS U14s
Goals continued to pour in in the High School League as well, as Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) U14s beat Cedar School, 4-2. Miquel Marshall netted twice as did Kahil Farrington, whilst Scott Kirk and Giovanni Grant scored for Cedar.
Cedar fire 10 on SDA
Cedar, though, bounced back with an 11-0 rout of Seventh-day Adventist School, courtesy of goals from Luca Chalwell (2), Grant (2), Kirk (3), Luca Reich (2) and Zac Jackson (2).
Begrado Flax and St Georges battled out to a 0-0 draw.
The Cedar Girls then beat St George’s, 9-0, with a Lilly Pierce hat trick and a brace each for Tinia Van Zoost, Darci Reich and Olivia Messum.
