Arrest blotters are disseminated to the public regularly.
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The following is the arrest blotter from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force from February 5 through February 11, 2012.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CANNABIS

On 05-02-2012 at 1915hrs, Police arrested and charged 46-year-old Elvis Freeman Parsons of Great Mountain for the following offences: (1) Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (2) Unlawful Possession of Crack/Cocaine (3) Fail to stop at the Sound of a Siren (4) Drive Without Drivers' Licence (5) Drive when not Covered by Insurance (6) Resist Arrest (7) Drive Unlicensed Vehicle and (8) Escape Lawful Custody.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

On 06-03-2012 at 0436hrs, Police arrested and charged 21-year-year Elrys Todman of Belmont for Criminal Trespass, Resisting Arrest, five counts of Assault on Police Officers and Disorderly Conduct in a police station. He was cautioned, searched informed of his rights and placed in the cell.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

On 07-02-2012 at 0849hrs, Police arrested and charged Jean Corum of no fixed place of abode for the offence of suspicion of criminal damage. He was cautioned and served with a copy of his prisoner’s rights.

ASSAULT OCCASIONING ACTUAL BODILY HARM

On 08-02-2012 at 1320hrs, Police arrested and charged Alison George of Crab Hill Road, Valley, Virgin Gorda for Attempt to choke and Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. On 09-02-2012 at 1430hrs, he was police bail in the sum of $5000 with one signed surety for his appearance in the Magistrate’s Court sitting at Virgin Gorda, BVI on 13-02-2012 at 1000hrs.
