UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CANNABIS 1. On 13-1-2012 at 1920hrs, Police arrested and charged 26-year-old Mitch Christopher of Hannah’s Estate and 25 year old Myron Royer of Huntums Ghut for Importation and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply another. 2. On 14-1-2012 at 0910hrs, Police arrested and jointly charged 27-year-old Akeem Sebastian of South Valley, previously of Long Bush, Tortola, and 28-year-old Alyson Parker of South Valley for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis. 3. On 14-1-2012 at 1855hrs, Police arrested and charged 31-year-old Enrique Schuster, 32-year-old Kyshama Javois, 46-year-old Dale Ritter and 43-year-old Elmo Barnes all of St Croix for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis. The arrest was as a result of a stop and search operation on 14-1-2012 at 1345hrs along the Josiah’s Bay Public Road. 4. On 13-1-2012 at 1100hrs, Police arrested and charged Moreme Maturine of Huntums Ghut for Unlawful Possession. She was granted bail in the sum of $5000 with one surety and is to appear before the Magistrate on 8-2-2012.

5. On 15-01-2012 at 1:45pm, Police arrested and charged 54-year-old Bertille O’Donoghue, 25-year-old Sherry-Ann Varlack and 25-year-old Rodney Rogers for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply.

COMMON ASSAULT

On 13-1-2012 at 1605hrs, Police arrested and charged Stanley Powell Jr. of Belle Vue on a Warrant in the First Instance for the offence of Common Assault.

LANDING A PERSON AT UNDESIGNATED PORT OF ENTRY

On 14-1-2012 at 2257hrs, Police arrested and charged 26-year-old Kimo Crooke of St Thomas for the offence of Landing a Person at an area not Designated as a Port of Entry.

ILLEGAL ENTRY

On 14-1-2012 at 0059hrs, Police arrested and charged 22-year-old Khiry Crooke of St Thomas for Illegal Entry. The arrest was as a result of a surveillance operation in Frenchman’s Cay area.

THEFT

On 14-1-2012 at 1650hrs, Police arrested and charged Quacy Lashley of Lower Estate for the offence of Theft.

ASSAULT OCCASIONING ACTUAL BODILY HARM 1. On 09-01-2012 at 1815hrs, Police arrested and charged 39-year-old Luis Morales, native of Dominican Republic and residence Copper Mine Road Valley, Virgin Gorda for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm.

2. On 10-01-2012 at 0735hrs, Police arrested and charged 20-year-old Terique Grant of Fat Hogs Bay for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm

MALICIOUS WOUNDING

On 11-1-2012 at 0937hrs, Police arrested and charged 36-year-old Vernard Leonard of Little Apple Bay for Unlawful and Malicious Wounding.
