PARAQUITA BAY, Tortola, VI- Ariella Oliver was crowned 2023 Miss Junior BVI when the pageant was held at Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium, H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) in Paraquita Bay last night, August 3, 2023.

Oliver was Contestant Number 2 of three contestants.

The strongly contested competition saw her walking away with the prizes for Best Introduction Speech, Best Black and White Affair Wear, Best Talent, Miss Poised, and Best Evening Wear.

Contestant Number 1 Aniyah Wilkinson also won Miss Poised and was awarded Miss Photogenic.

Contestant Number 3 Chrystal Michel was adjudged Miss Intellect and Best Swimwear.

    well done and for 15 as well. great job. the other girls were good too. They all came well prepared. the winner was different. she stood out. that was the main difference. you all are awesome.

    Awesome show last evening, if you were not there you missed a great show. Hopefully the committee members can do their very best e.g. (central location, weekend date, some of which contributed to low turnout) for next year's 70th Anniversary to ensure that the contestants would be fully supported. All the contestants did a fantastic job, very talented young ladies, hope to see one or more of them contesting for the future Miss BVI.

    That Island blend fusion people were absolute trash!! The committee better not bring those niggas back for "Entertainment". Got people begging the host to not bring them on stage when their name was announced. DO BETTER!!!
