Facing the Reality of Racism:

If Life is good but Racism is bad, then living in denial will not alter a grain of sand or blade of grass... Racism is real and must be exposed in order to be defeated… Those Persons who claim that speaking about it, makes it worse, are wrong, because all our present progress, has resulted from public Debate, and the Caribs, Arawaks, and American Indians, who were silent on their Displacement, suffered badly.

Whether or not the things I say are new or obvious, and even if you know them - but are too afraid to admit - you should still double-check the facts, because anyone can claim to be a bearer of Truth… It is up to us to be sceptical when those Messengers are unable to tell the difference between Dusk and Dawn, since one may carry regrets of the past while the other brings promises of a new beginning.

Just as the Planets rotate and revolve daily, the God of Nature and Laws of Balance, provides chances and opportunities over and over, so that we may grow and blossom… However, changing the habits and customs of a People who were indoctrinated before they were knee-high to a grasshopper, will never be easy... This has been so for centuries, and we still fail to differentiate between the good, the bad and the ugly.

For our Ancestors, it is far too late, but those of us who are privileged to enjoy the Rights of Freedom, should never dismiss our obligation to deliver the Message of Hope to those who are still trapped in the Slave Mentality... They need help, and it’s not a matter of Tradition or who knows more or who knows less, for Circumstances alter cases, thus, it takes far less water to drown us than to quench our thirst.

We are all born helpless, hopeless and ignorant, and it’s thanks to those who came before that we learnt about Life... While the easiest Road is downhill, that is where Vision is limited, and, where there is no Vision, the People perish... It may have taken us extra-long to walk and talk, but the fact is we did, and this is not the time to sit down and shut up, when Messages of Life and Death are to be delivered to our People.

This will not be easy, for we have been pre-programmed to self-destruct by fighting against each other, and we volunteer to self-sacrifice and defend the injustice of others as if it was our own creation… We think of ourselves as privileged to support their wrongs as rights, and that is why, ‘Truth for the Youth’ is focused on providing Facts and Solutions in support of the struggle against Mental and Physical Slavery.

Much of what we accomplish will depend on doing what we say, for while no one is born Warlike and Racist, the influences are all around us, and we may have been exposed to the Virus of Hate… The sole Vaccination, may depend on realising that our primary exposure may have been via the Bible, with its endless Conflicts, and its declaration of a Chosen Race, thereby deeming all others to be inferior.

Are we Africans or what?

Ironically, this all happened in and around Africa, which is now regarded as the Dark Continent for various reasons… Yet, Africa is accepted as the Birth Place of Creation and Cradle of Civilisation, with more linkage than anywhere else to the ‘God of Nature, Laws of Balance, and Garden of Eden… If that is indeed the case, then won’t that mean that all Humanity, throughout the World, are genetically Africans?

Society is conditioned to look down on Black Africans, but if these are regarded as being the Grassroot Original Africans, won’t that also mean that other Races are mutations, and scientifically, cannot be as pure as the Original?... These are some of the simple but unanswered questions that are passed down from generation to generation, simply because we are too afraid to address the Topics, face to face.

For too long we have lived in denial, and accepted the loudest noise from the biggest pulpit… We saw illusions as solutions, and we excuse Ignorance as wisdom, especially if we can make a few Dollars more… Brother Bob Marley is not the only example, but he was famously born in Jamaica from a Black Mother and White Father, and made Millions singing about going back to his natural home in Africa.

If we had not overlooked the folly and hypocrisy, we would have asked ourselves, ‘How come Mixed-Race Children, of English and African Descent, are told that they should go to some Home in Africa, rather than to their Home in England?... We just accept these things routinely, so that the abnormal is fast replacing the normal…  No wonder we cannot explain the facts, and  our Children are confused.

The latest trend is for other Races to purchase Properties in Black Communities, whether Africa or the West Indies, and once they are settled, they block the Locals from using the Properties and Services… When you link this to UK’s decision to send her Rejects to Rwanda, it would strongly suggest that we are going backwards, with Africa being recolonised and Africans being ostracised in their own Country.

I spoke about this in reference to the Palmgrove Shopping Centre Plot, but another interesting dynamic is a rumour that some Foreign Countries are planning to use Black Men as Studs, in order to rebuild and strengthen their own Population, physically and numerically… This may all sound like Movie Material, but sometimes our Reality is stranger than their Fiction... Only time will tell, as we watch and wait.

A Constant Struggle from Birth to Dirt:

Back to the origin of Racism, and I still don’t know, but most appear to become aware of discrimination when Religion taught them to regard themselves as being inferior so others could be superior... Clearly, Religion requires a degree of ignorance, but we are too afraid to apply commonsense or ask the right Questions... Instead, we still shackle ourselves to Religions as a Life Raft, with Lies as the Engine.

Slave Descendants seem to suffer more than most, for, when our Ancestors dropped from Royalty to Slavery, these Parents, were left with nothing for us to inherit, but the Slave Master’s Promises of Milk, Honey, and Streets of Gold, on the condition that we would inherit none of this, until we are dead… So far, no one has returned to give us a status report on the condition of our Properties in Heaven or Hell.

Nonetheless, we are anxious to accept even more injustice, hardship and suffering, for we are told that if we turn the other Cheek and be humble, then we will inherit the Earth... We don’t seem to care that these promises came from the same Masters that gave us the “1493 Doctrine of Discovery”, which entitled themselves to all our Property and Possessions, based on a Religious Mandate from their God.

If they can’t fool you, they can’t rule you, so this Doctrine survived for centuries with Governments as Churches use Religion as a weapon to retard and impoverish the Masses... They see Education as the Enemy, so Wars destroy Learning Centres, and Warriors build Prisons instead of Schools... Then, they pretend that we are smart by being stupid; so if we reject Ghosts and Imaginary Friends, they call us fools.

Fact is we are no longer Slaves, so we are accountable for more than just ourselves... We should never allow Ignorance to grow so deep and Wisdom so shallow, that we simply go with the flow, for any Idiot can make excuses, while wisemen seek solutions... Today, the Slave Descendants who never lived Apartheid or Genocide, are praising Israel’s killings of the Palestinians as merely fulfilling the will of God.

They have no idea or interest in knowing that, not so long ago that same Terror and Treatment was used on our People in their Homeland of South Africa… Today, like Adam who was punished for eating from the Tree of Knowledge, we are witnessing Students being punished for knowing wrong from right and acting correctly… Today, we will go to Church for a weekly Top-up, and to say a Prayer for the Wicked.

Again, we ignore our responsibilities, Leaders become Deceivers, and on a good day, we console ourselves with the belief that we can relax and do nothing because Right will always conquer Wrong... If only this was true, then most Prisons and Graveyards would be empty, and those who knowingly choose wrong over right, won’t spend the rest of their lives in slow motion, or always looking over their shoulder.

Turn the other cheek does not mean be humble. It means to humble them by returning the slap. One missed translation weakens the foundation of the argument. The idea of being a slave is clearly stated as the punishment for sin, for the chosen people who broke covenant with the Most High. They would be scattered by strange people to all corners of the earth. Where are we today? Are we not the scattered? So if we are the scattered and therefore the slaves that means we were also the chosen ones, the only ones mentioned to have this covenant with the most high. No one else. So how did you miss all those facts? It is in the same book! The chosen ones were named after El himself, hence Isra-El...the people...before they got to the place. Only a matter of translation. Do not deceive yourself lest you deceive others. Either claim your status as a slave or claim your status as a Chosen One. The choice is yours. They have to make up the history in the books because they can't change the real history in The Book, even if they tried. Translation is key.

Mr. Frett, I very seldom comment on articles and editorials in the media, but I wish to thank you for your deep sense of truth, seemingly driven by a well-balanced intellect, intelligence and understanding of complex issues, especially within the realm of reality within the BVI. High respect to you, sir.

Miseducation of the youths again. First of all, racism cannot hide, wherever it exists it will make itself known. The problem here is that every time the subject of transparency and accountability comes up, the race card is pulled out what that is not the game going. Secondly, nobody is every silent when they are oppressed, and to suggest that is an attempt to deceive. All the groups you mentioned saying they were silent, how you know they were silent? You haven't done your homework. Resistance was always put up, but the victors won because they were more equipped with war weapons, and in some cases their enemies were greater in number. As for going back to Africa, are you willing to go and leave your investments here?

So you hollered our a whole lecture , using a lot of parables , and it leaves some people wondering where you coming from , so your message is not clear , next time get to the point using a straight line , and I like to read what you write , how about explaining this ( island people saga ) , and how it came about and what is the purpose of it , since you know so much about racism , and labeling our Caribbean brothers and sisters as ( island people , when we all living on an ☆ island ☆ just like them , aren't we all African descendants ? ? ? And why are we still nurturing this xenophobia in this 21st century , isn't that a form of racism ? ? ? ???? we have been begging Mr E LEONARD to enlighten us on that part of our history , but for some reason , he is dsistancing himself from that part of our history , but hollering out on the white man's history from centuries ago , so that's why we are begging you to tell us the truth that's all

To @ Mr. Frett, who are the we who have been begging Mr. E. Leonard to explain the origin and meaning of the term of ‘ Island Man’? That is you with your annoying nonsense and folly asking, don’t pretend you are asking for the rest of us. The rest of us just want the opportunity to earn a living to take care of our families. Keep our names out of your mouth. Capice!!

Mr. Frett, I lost some time for you after you published a nasty attack piece on migrants. Migrants like those who work for you in your successful business. We are living in a black majority country. I struggle with understanding how racism comes into things here. In the U.S., sure to an extent. Anyway , please try to be respectful of migrants; whether of the same race or not. They’ve benefited you.

It is the voluntary choice of African slave descendants to return to return to the land of their forebears. Why people are not asking whites to return to the cold ass Caucasus Mountains? Ok. Slaves bought from tribal leaders, transported across the Atlantic in ships packed like sardines under the most horrible, inhumane conditions with millions having a watery grave, auction to like animals to high bidder. Then in a strange new land thousand of miles away from home, their labor exploited and expropriated, dehumanized, abused, women raped, deprived of basic education, healthcare, proper housing, generating generational wealth,,civic engagement, etc.,separated from families from families in Africa and in new world.. This exploitation.,,dehumanization,,etc treatment went on for centuries. Now their labor built America and European countries economies, creating dizzying l individual wealth, etc, they want their descendants to go back to Africa. We will go to Africa when they go back to the Caucasus Mountains .

Moreover, racism is a griped based power and economic control scenario in which one racial group controls so wealth and resources power it can enslave , subordinate, exploit,,exclude, or render another group non-competitive ( Black History Reader )..The controlling group can determined how the lesser group live..To soften the adverse impact of racism, the controlling group want to shift to classism, ie,, economic status, educational level,,employment status, etc. classism varies while racism is fixed for Blacks.
