ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Office of the Governor in the Virgin Islands (VI) has announced that applications for 2025–2026 Chevening Scholarships are now open.
The Chevening Scholarship is the United Kingdom (UK) Government’s international scholarship programme. The award offers post-graduate students the opportunity to study a fully funded master's degree in the UK for one year.
A Chevening Scholarship, according to the Office of the Governor on its Facebook page on August 8, 2024, includes University tuition fees; A monthly stipend; Travel costs to and from the UK; Arrival allowance; Homeward departure allowance; The cost of one visa application; and A travel grant to attend Chevening events in the UK.
The deadline for applications is November 5, 2024.

who were living and/or working in the VI, and who's 'kids' got those scholarships to study in the UK, in England.
I'm sure some locals were given the scholarship package too. Some amazing education in England, not just the
famous names of fine institutes of education, such as Cambridge or Buckingham Palace. One useful course of
study, now mandatory to graduate, is how to stab people of all races, colors, creeds, and backgrounds in the back,
and look sophisticated while doing it. Great Britain is tickled pink offering that one.
