So instead of asking for donations for the good gestures at the hospital they prefer to o give away $25k. 25k would have been a good amount to help with the gesture.

Donate for what ? You don’t think that the government don’t make enough money from expats work permits and taxes? SMH the cheapest work permit is $400 and change, and we have a lot expats. Let the government donate instead asking those others entities for money smh

So why have the rotary club then if you depend on the government for everything?

why don't you give a donation I am sure they would welcome it. But I guess the concept of fundraising eludes you or your bad mind would not allow you to fully comprehend this. Its giving back to the community while getting from them.

Its nice of you raising $ for cancer. It should have gone to the cancer society where people could ask for funds to help with cancer treatments. Another area I would think is in need would be the Alzheimer's Society, buy tracking devices for residents with wandering issues to help protect them from getting lost.

maybe you should have done a little bit of asking to find out the what they are trying to do. however I must say that Rotary have don a VERY Poor job at getting the word out about the purpose of the raffle, I only knew because when they sold me the ticket they said in was in aid of Cancer Treatment equipment for the hospital. now what are you going to do for the the areas you highlighted? let me guess wait for Rotary to do something then get confused about it.
