Thank goodness this only happens once a year - all the trash coming over from Tortola with their bad manners, pushing and shouting. Can’t wait for more well
mannered tourists to arrive on Tuesday.

Unfortunately this is the only time some of them will reach Anegada. Those of us with 'class' come on any given weekend, to enjoy the peace and quiet away from the 'classless'. See you guys next week, when business is back to normal.

I was not there but Lord, Anegadian did not speak well of us Tortolians. Tortolians you hear you own speaking bad about you, take heed. What you practice home you take it out. Anyhow we are one BVI.

Tourist board put their monies, their hearts and their mouth completely behind this fest. For that they have to be congratulated....#GreatjobBVITB.

I congratulate the tourist board for putting together a good event HOWEVER, I would agree that the majority that came over from Tortola have no manners or class about themselves when out in public.

They are not invited to certain events for the simple fact that they don’t know how to act when they go anywhere. I have family members that I refuse to invite to certain affairs that I have due to the fact that they are loud and have no manners. Why you have to start packing away 2 and 3 plates of food to walk with when all the guest haven’t eaten. Grandma always say, you can come from the bottom of the ghetto but you have to have class about yourself.

Lobsters are not to be eaten much less having them cooked in foil paper. Terrible for a person's health.

Lobsters is bottom feeders and should not be eaten. They eat whatever is on the bottom of the ocean be it animal carcass or human carcass garbage whatever. Lobster is indeed terrible for one’s health. Then the got to nerve to charge a arm and leg for lobster.

It was a great event and I will give the tourist board their props. I would say as well, some that came over from Tortola showed a lack of class and a lack of manners. Some people just don’t know how to act when they go anywhere, always have to show out like they never been anywhere.

The taxi service was poor and the selling of tickets can't even discribe that. Could find the agent selling the shuttle tickets and then the taxis charging more than what was advertised. There was a lady in the beginning who has class and was very professional and would give all the information pertaining as where to go within walking distance and then the outter businesses. Tourist Board did an awasome job in promoting the event but the taxis and the businesses need to up their game on customer service. POOR!

I know exactly who you are talking about. That lady was very professional and was up on the information as to where to go. She did a excellent job.

For real, Lobsters is bottom feeders like shrimps and crawfish. They call crawfish mud bugs. Those creepy bottom feeders with the little black beady eyes eat whatever is on the bottom of the ocean floor be it human feces, animal feces, dead bodies that may have been sitting at the bottom of the ocean that was never found. Next time you eating that lobster and shrimp in butter and lemon sauce in foil paper or on a plate, chances are you may be eating digested human. I don’t care how much lobster cost it is very bad to consume.

Lobsterfest was a disaster this year, hardly anyone came on the saturday which is when the tourists come and enjoy the day from the USVI and within the BVI. Blaring music on Fridayt night kept all the tourists away on their boats instead of coming ashore and enjoying the party. It got worse where the cars started blaring music into the early hours.
The soca event at Big Bamboo was a big let down it was empty and the jouvert was a joke at 6am with less than 30 people.
Now comes Sunday and all the people from Tortola and VG come to enjoy the bands at Big Bamboo & Anegada Reef and that is it.
Now the tourist board did go all out promoting the event but they only premoted it in the BVI facebook page, instagram, they waste most of the budget if not it all for Anegada on this event and its aimed at people in Tortola.

Why are people on here criticising people who spend their money to have a good time..You all way of good time is reserve just for you all, you can't can't dictate what fun and good time is for others... There is a saying says, it's only we can make ourselves happy, so if you are happy sitting or standing by watching and criticizing others, them that's your vybz and happiness. If another person wants to dance up and get on, that's their happiness, those people don't have time to watch those of you who are watching them, they are too busy having a good time ..

No one is telling anyone how to spend their money or not to have a good time. Just have some class and manners and how to conduct yourself when you go anywhere. Yeah you all came over here from Tortola and show how classless, rude, and loud you are.

Saturday hardly had anyone. People looked miserable in photos/videos.

Sunday though it had more than Saturday was much less than previous years.

We thank you for organizing a good event this weekend! My only issue is the toilets/restroom facilities at most of the participating establishments. I am not sure whether, in the future, you can impress upon them to ensure that restrooms are cleaned and monitored at regular intervals during the day and stocked with toilet paper, hand soap and hand tissue. Patrons are spending money and supporting these establishments and the restrooms are filthy and without toilet paper etc. Thank you..

I would like to say to Tortola peeps to get together, maybe form a committee next time, buy lobsters and hold a fete on Tortola. Boycott their event and keep your bad attitude and manners on Tortola. See how they like you then. They are ungrateful. Everybody from Tortola could not be that bad mannered.
