Andrews & Blackmore are Road Race Champs
As a precursor to the Race the Federation also hosted a candle light service for the slain Rider, Bally, who was shot and killed in 1999.
According to Daryl Christopher Snr. the Federation’s President, “The federation would like to thank the Minister for Education and Culture, Hon. Myron V. Walwyn, for his presence and brief remarks at the candle light service for fallen cyclist, Jason Bally, who was killed 15 years ago. We would also like to thank the B.V.I Olympic Committee for their monetary contribution to aid in hosting the race.”
A total of (16) cyclists came to support the race including a visiting cyclist from Antigua Timothy Thomas. Below are the race results;

Christopher Snr. also made note of the supporter the Federation had received during the event.
“The BVI Cycling Federation would like to thank all the supporters who attended this event. We also would like to thank the cyclists who participated. We wish Philippe Leroy speedily recovery from his injury. We encourage the public to come out to support the races for 2015 and anyone who is interested in cycling to become a member of the BVI Cycling Federation,” he said.
