BEEF ISLAND, VI– The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has said it has arrested a male, age 52, from the United States of America for entering the territory via Terrence B. Lettsome International Airport with a loaded firearm.

The man had reportedly managed to pass through airport security undetected on April 21, 2022, but was arrested when he attempted to leave the territory with the said loaded firearm on April 26, 2022.

According to the RVIPF, in a press release today, April 27, 2022, initial inquiries indicate that the male entered the Territory on April 21, 2022, in possession of the weapon and was not checked by Immigration or Customs. “However, upon trying to depart the Territory on April 26, the weapon was found in his possession, and he was subsequently arrested by the Police stationed at the Airport,” the RVIPF stated in a press release.

Police did not state whether the man has since been charged but said inquiries are ongoing.

You see that, man entering the territory with loaded gun, not check by customs and immigration, but yet they want to accused the police of smuggling and trying to detain police boat, you ever hear such foolishness.

What you think? Only white people can pass through without being checked. Those colonized minds at the airport believe once you white you right lol.

Without knowing whether he is black or white I do not know whether to be supportive or to condemn him. It’s not fair to make me delay expressing my opinion.

Isn't there a question about firearms or weapons on the declaration form you need to fill in when entering the territory?

    1. So this man didn't go through security in the country that he departed from?
    2. Did he declare his weapon on the entry form at all?

even if you full out the declare form you still have to get your bag scan. the officer on duty that day was under staff when the white man came in. now he leaving the scan was done and now them find it. security drop the ball as you didn't check this man bag when he came in on the 21st of April now its the 26 april how sad....

"Initial inquiries indicate that the male entered the Territory on April 21, 2022, in possession of the weapon and was not checked by Immigration or Customs."

Who did they make these initial inquiries from? Did the man himself admit to this? If not, how do they know that he came IN with the weapon when he wasn't checked on entry?

And you're sure he brought it in?
Suppose he brought or acquired it here?

Did he say he brought it here?

    I'm not understanding the math!

Soo, customs and immigration is inept during the entrance process?
Orr, was he allowed to pass through, due to insider information?

I'm not understanding..I need further clarification!

It's now obvious to all, that there needs to be inside investigation of this department, from top to bottom!

The question is, why was he traveling with a gun? Who was he going to shoot and why? Every other question doesn't matter, because no regular passenger would put themselves in jeopardy for carrying a gun.

It would seem, due to security checks, that perhaps he didn’t arrive with a weapon, but was leaving with one. That’s the only thing that makes sense to me.
