ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Contestant #1 Adacia R. Adonis was crowned Miss BVI 2024 when the pageant was held at Multi-Purpose Sports Complex on Sunday, July 21, 2024.

Miss Adonis also took home prizes for Best Evening Wear and Miss Intellect.

The new queen for the Virgin Islands 70th Emancipation Festival will also carry the title of Miss BVI International.

The other contestants were Donyelle D. Hodge, Neria S.R. Griffith, Akesha K. Roberts, Shanta L. Conner, Circe A. O’Neal and Stacy-ann J. Bobb.

Among the many persons at the event were Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7), and Miss BVI 1981 and Jr Minister for Culture and Tourism Hon Luce D. Hodge-Smith (R4).

      Yes it was! They need to bring in outside judges like what they did for this show! I love it! Too much biasness with local judges!

    It was judged fairly. The other girls weren't ready at all. They ate not sharp( meaning they act so slow like they just leave high school).

    I must say that the prince and princess show set the bar high for the show last night but somehow it couldn't keep up the standard. I really thought it was going to be exceptional for the 70th. The platform should have been geared totally towards the olden days.yes we are in modern days but a bit more would have spice it up a bit more. Carry the crowd to that level and bring the house down it's all about outside the box.
