‘A vote for me is a vote for you’ - Kye M. Rymer to D5
Speaking to a large audience last evening, Saturday, January 19, 2019, at the launch of his D5 campaign, Mr Rymer said he doesn’t have a problem rolling up his sleeves and getting the machete to cut grass and even clean the district when the need arises.
Mr Rymer pointed out that in the past he has served at the lowest level—inlcuding washing cars during a local fundraiser—a testament to his commitment to the people.
Results Driven
“I am able-bodied, hardworking, results driven, experienced and a family man, committed and ready to make even more contributions to the growth and development of our country and specifically District 5,” Mr Rymer told those gathered.
He said he represents the very best the district has to offer in terms of a candidate who is respectful and effective and one who will fight and be attentive to the needs of the people.
“Why vote for me? Vote for me because a vote for me is a vote for you… and we have a committee that has already been assisting and working in the community, they are on a mission to bring District 5 alive,” he said.
Economic Empowerment
“Bringing District 5 alive is about you the people, our economic empowerment, displaying our cultural heritage, ensuring that your children and grandchildren will grow up in a village where they can grow and continue to flourish and be productive citizens of these Virgin Islands,” Mr Rymer uttered.
“My neighbours of the 5th district I commit to you, that your needs and your concerns will de heard and addressed because your concerns are my concerns,” he assured.
He said the politics of division is not present in the district and envisions the area as the cultural capital of the territory while promising job opportunities, community services including a new library and entrepreneurial programmes that will benefit the people living and working in the area.
