A time for unity in D6? Hon Maduro-Caines & Walwyn join forces
It was at the invitation of the BVI Recreation Trust, a statutory body under the Ministry of Education and Culture where according to its Executive Director Mr Eustace C. Freeman members were called upon to ‘uplift facilities’.
“It is our intention to call on members of the community to assist in the uplift of the facilities, today both political camps vying for the D6 seat, spent the morning at the Millicent Mercer Recreation Ground repainting the bathroom facility,” he said.
More works to come in new week
Other works over the past few weeks according to Mr. Freeman “included the rehabilitation of the restroom which included, Electrical work, Plumbing, and Painting,” he added.
The work at the basketball court included court rehabilitation, the Bleacher installation, and Repainting with other works that are to be done next week Mr. Freeman added.
In addition, to help from the Campaign Committees of both Hon Maduro-Caines and Mr. Walwyn towards the project, other members of the community also contributed including the one love football club and Paint Factory.
