998lbs of cocaine reportedly recovered following boat chase
One person was arrested and the vessel, which was beached at Fort Recovery, was detained by the Joint Task Force, which had collaborated with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the US Coast Guard in the operation.
Our newsroom was told that 453kg (998lbs) of cocaine was picked up from the Sir Francis Drake Channel after being dumped from the go-fast vessel.
Boat captain captured in Carrot Bay
According to reports, the captain of the boat beached at Fort Recovery and attempted to escape in a pickup truck but crashed in some bushes at Carrot Bay.
He allegedly attempted to escape in some bushes but was pursued and caught.
Reports are that at least 3 persons were observed on the go-fast boat; however, only one person was arrested.

1) customs aint seems well it’s clear the dont have the immediate responsive resources on like for such a apprehension. That’s where the station district 24hr police officers comes in a good job to them.
2) the last two major drug bust were covert! operation. Solely done by a special team in the police .
