This is according to Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronald E. Georges in an update this evening, July 6, 2021.
Currently there are four (4) persons hospitalised with two (2) in ICU presently.
"Given the large number of cases and positive contacts, the Virgin Islands can be assumed to be experiencing community spread of COVID-19 at this time," Dr Georges said.
558 active cases
Meanwhile, Minister for Health and Social Development Hon Carvin Malone (AL) disclosed that there are 558 active cases.

“more vaccinated=more cases”.
That is FALSE, plain and simple!
If you are drowning in the sea and a fisherman comes along and offers you a life raft you put your faith in him that he knows what he is doing and accept. Although judging by a lot of attitudes here, many would happily drown while questioning the build quality of the boat
Can anyone seriously say that 50% of the population here have legitimate medical reasons not to take the vaccine?
