        Covid 19 Vaccine

        - Does Not Eliminate The Virus
        - Does Not Guarantee You Won't Get It
        - Does Not Eliminate Mask Wearing & Social Distancing
        - Does Not Prevent Death
        - Do Not Know What It Is Made Up Of
        - Does Not Know How Long The Vaccine Would Last

teach me how to read .... tell me where you read they were vaccinated ? Have you heard about basic reading comprehensive? one of us does not have it ... after reading twice on two publication ... I am willing to take a guess and say its you and not me ...

I am willing to make another guess ... let me guess you have not vaccinated yourself and let me guess, you also read somewhere that if you take this vaccination, your DNA will change and you will grow a tail ...

that is the problem of the BVI ...

Umpteen times they say if you get the vaccine you can still catch the virus. The vaccine is to protect YOU your immune system, your general well being from the virus if you happen to catch it. You can also sprwad it to others. I hope you understand now and go get vaccinated it is to protect yourself.

BIBLE AUOTES AND OTHERS AS FOLLOW:
"THE LIPS OF THE RIGHTEOUS FEED MANY, BUT FOOLS DIE FOR WANT OF WISDOM.
The unwise seek attention by much groundless speaking, but the wise act
    Wisely when facing grave danger.
He who does nor prepare in times of storms, the same believe in mythical stories. Wise action is the strenth of wise words.

The visitor surge begins. Glad 10000+ of us are vaccinated so we may only catch the mild 'flu' instead of the lethal corona virus. Peebles needs to start stockpiling steel cylinders full of oxygen when the vaccine hesitant can't breathe!

It is folly to think there are no cases in the Territory. For one, many cases are asymptomatic. Only way is to know is to keep testing people. If we want to get to where we can safely say the pandemic is under control, we need to vaccinate more people. Another 12-15,000 vaccines (both doses) would get us close to 70% immunity. More would be better. The advantage then is we could open the Territory, and get more tourism going. People will come if they think the virus risk is well managed. If we don’t get to a herd immunity stage, the Territory will mirror mainland US, and there will be perpetual pockets of virus cases, potentially allowing more infective variants which could challenge the immunity of those already vaccinated. One step forward, three step back. It’s hard to see the upside of not vaccinating if we want to go back to anything like the “good old days”.

No cases don't need to enter the country for covid to reach here. Just get the flu and you have covid.

Seeing that we can now add additional data, moving forward it would be considerate and helpful to report if positive cases are vaccinated (fully or 1 shot). After all, we want to be able to keep the statistics in order

I have a concern, how come cases is going up and the place is practically lock down, hardly any tourists, people not coming in droves, wa going on hear, the USVI full of Tourists and they got the Virus under control, something isn’t right with this picture.
    • Scientist (05/05/2021, 07:57) Like (1) Dislike (1) Reply
@ problem: USVI has been succesful because they decided early on to test and trace people, ie to collect and analyze the data to better understand and manage the pandemic. They have conducted more than 100,000 tests to date. They followed up on positives, and tested family and neighbors. Those positive were quickly isolated for 14 days. This aggressive approach meant few hospitalized and a less than 1% mortaility rate (US mainland was up to about 6% in ealy days, and now about 2%). When positivity rates were on the upswing, more restrictions were imposed, with the threat of curfews which nobody wanted, so most people abided. Restrictions were eased as rates of positives declined. The data was updated daily online for anyone to see. Interestingly, most of the cases originate from either community or close contact, meaning the disease is smoldering away locally with fewer than 10% associated with travel (i.e. brought in by tourists or folks returning), likely mitigated by the requirement of a negative PCR test to enter. Moreover, USVI has aggressively promoted vaccinations since early February, has made it easy for anyone, including tourists, to get them, and is on target for 50,000 by the end of June. Basically, USVI decided early on to manage the inevitable pandemic following the advice of qualified scientists and public health professionals that they listened to, instead of trying to take a zero risk approach, unlikely to succeed with highly infectious diseases, let alone with one that is asymptomatic in more than half the cases but that is 10 to 20 deadlier in susceptible groups.

They are required to submit a negative test to get entry, yet they still testing positive.

    Something smells.
    • Answer from Outsider (04/05/2021, 18:03) Like (2) Dislike (5) Reply
      What smells is called COVID-19.
It's a highly infectious virus. I takes some days to incubate in a human's body and reach detectible levels.
The virus has been around over a year now. A few million people have died from it. COVID-19 has garnered a lot of attention in the media and from governments. Most people know all this already. Even the VI government had this in mind when it set up its quarantine regime involving tests not just arrival but also some days afterwards.

You Right Fr When Those That Got Vaccinated Get In Contact With The Virus They Say Their Results Would Come Back Negative But How Can It Be Negative If The Vaccine Does Not Eliminate The Virus From Entering Into Our Bodies...Therefore It Should Read Positive...Vaccine Can Not Help Your Immune System You Have To See To It To Take Care Of Your Own Body And What You Put Inside Of It...But Just So They Can Easily Fool People To Take The Shot....Ridiculous!!! Them out here giving out artifical vaccine ntn good for the body...
