2024 BVI Staycation launches with 34 participating partners

The 2024 Staycation programme boasts 34 participating partners, offering a wide range of experiences across five categories: Cultural Experiences, Restaurants, Spas, Adventures, and Car Rentals.
“Whether you are looking to explore the rich cultural heritage of the islands, indulge in gourmet dining, relax with a spa day, embark on thrilling adventures, or simply cruise around in a rental car, there is something for everyone,” BVITB&FC stated in a press release on June 17, 2024.
‘A Festival Celebration for 2024 Staycation’
This year, the Staycation programme runs from June 15 to August 31 and coincides with the Virgin Islands’ 70th Emancipation Festival, and promises a unique blend of cultural heritage and vibrant festivities.
With the theme "A Festival Celebration for 2024 Staycation" this year’s programme encourages residents, regional friends from the US Virgin Islands, St Maarten, and Puerto Rico, as well as the VI diaspora, to immerse themselves in the beauty and culture of the [British] Virgin Islands.
"We are thrilled to introduce BVI Staycation 2024, coinciding with the 70th Emancipation Festival," said RaeNisia Scatliffe, Regional Marketing Manager, BVITBFC. "This unique blend of local heritage, vibrant festivities, amazing stays and adventures offers an unforgettable experience for residents and visitors alike, showcasing the best of the British Virgin Islands."
Meanwhile, the 70th Virgin Islands Emancipation Festival will be held from July 14 to August 10, 2024, under the theme ‘Celebrate Our Freedom and Live in Unity , as BVI Festival Turns 70’.
