2 social activists ‘Picko Moff’ & Kishma Penn arrested then released

A few days ago, Mr Kaream K. Pickering aka ‘Picko Moff’ of East End was detained by police in connection with a Facebook video calling for violence against politicians. In particular, he was advocating that residents should “burst the head of the Premier”.
Also arrested and released was the controversial Kishma Penn, a civil servant working at the Public Works Department (soon to retire) who has also engaged in libel and slander, according to legal experts. In a Facebook video clip, she accused the Premier of “getting on planes with different women all the time and sexing them all over the place on we money.”
Pickering did not respond to our request for a comment, while Penn confirmed she had been arrested and released.
Is there a double standard?
Many are surprised that the queen of hate speech and slander in the Virgin Islands, Rosemary L. Rosan aka 'Cindy', has not been arrested and charged when she has said similar things, at times worse, in the past about the Premier and other residents. They are openly questioning when she will be arrested and investigated like both Mr Pickering and Ms Penn.
Ms Rosan, who is now doing FB posts showing her support for the Alliance rebel leader Hon Myron V. Walwyn (R6), when asked where she felt she could be arrested like Pickering and Penn, responded, "Is vino in fear? Based on their brutal harassment of persons in public and members of the HOA?"
Rosan once said former Premier Andrew A. Fahie should face the death penalty for his trial in a Florida Court.
Are criminal charges pending?
It is believed both Mr Pickering and Ms Penn could be charged under the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act for material deemed “grossly offensive” or containing a “menacing character.”
There is also the option of section 19 of the Counterterrorism Act of 2021, according to legal experts reviewing this matter.
It is unclear if both Pickering and Penn will offer a public apology, especially for libelous and slanderous statements against the Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7).
Meanwhile, Police Information Officer Akia L. Thomas-Nero, when asked about the arrests of Pickering and Penn, said she could not confirm the reports.

In the land of sun and Caribbean breeze,
Where islands whisper and the palms tease,
Sits a Premier, high on his fragile throne,
Wailing on Facebook, feeling alone.
"They mock me! They lie!" he cried to the skies,
While potholes deepen and prices rise.
Roads are cracking, the youth feel lost,
But he’s more concerned with what insults cost.
A TikTok diss? He calls the law!
A meme goes viral? "That's slander! A flaw!"
While the ferry’s late and schools decay,
He’s filing complaints—day after day.
Picko talks tough, and Kishma vents,
But real leadership? It came and went.
The island’s bleeding, the people plead,
Yet no one moves with purpose or speed.
Oh Premier, with too much ego and thin skin,
Where’s your backbone? What are you doing?
Leaders don’t pout when the people scoff—
They rise above, they brush it off.
So stop the sobbing, dry that eye,
The BVI needs more than a weekly cry.
You’ve got a nation, not a play,
So lead like one. Or step away.
yall gone learn.

“getting on planes with different women all the time and sexing them all over the place on we money.”
Everyone who travelled on our dime should be named, and then we will see if Ms Penn was right.
Personally, I think she want to go on the premier.
On a trip with the premier.
