ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Two persons in the Virgin Islands (VI) have lost their lives due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total deaths due to the virus in the territory to 42.

This announcement was made yesterday afternoon, Thursday, January 13, 2022, by Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronald E. Georges.

The Acting CMO was at the time making statements, giving updates and responding to questions during the Government’s stakeholders meeting which addressed the impact of the current COVID-19 surge in the territory.

Dr Georges used the opportunity to appeal to persons to get vaccinated.

Vaxxed vs Unvaxxed

“There is always this discussion in the community about vaccinated and unvaccinated and all of that. Basically, the science does tell us that vaccination does reduce the severity of the disease and the probability of death, but if persons have complications and other issues COVID can hasten demise.”

According to Dr Georges, one of the persons who died was unvaccinated.

Noting that it is not uncommon to see that there will be some vaccinated deaths, Dr Georges said, “But these may be because people have other issues. So we did have two additional ones [deaths] as I mentioned and I don’t want to go into any specifics, one of those is un-vaccinated, I don’t have the vaccination status of the other. This is always an issue for questioning and bones of contention.”

Meanwhile, the age and gender of the deceased were not disclosed.

Every time someone dies and it is COVID related what is the need to continue asking if the person was vaccinated or not. Everyone is going to die vaccinated or not.

No the big question is how old were they, were they obese and what other comorbidities did they have.

As we give birth to our children, we have take them to the clinic for them to get shots for chickenpox, polio MMR etc to prevent 5hem from getting those illnesses in the future.
Why when you get vaccinated for covid, you are still getting the virus? They are hiding the fact that some people have problems after taking the shots from the public. Some men dick stop work, women get their period for more than two weeks, some get it twice a month. Women who stopped getting periods started getting it again, some who haven't had sexex in years started feeling horny all of a sudden and the list goes on.

I would sure like to know where the BS that you are talking about is coming from and where you are getting it from. The men whose penis stop working was not working way before the vaccine came out, some men penis stopped working because they have high blood pressure and the meds they are taking causes erectile dis function. Women that is going through menopause does not have the urge to have sex or get horny.perhaps the women the women that is getting their periods again for up to two weeks is on some type of estrogen or hormones medication to help with painful sex.

Youve got it wrong. Erectile dysfunction occurs in men who catch covid because it effects blood flow. Vaccine is NOTHING to do with it.

This is why we don't trust you all. The spike proteins shedding will get any people sick along with the chem trail planes you all have flying in the air with all that poison. You think the truly awake unvax people are dumb, we know to stay away from the hospital and test period at all cost. Who's really dying? I know people are tested positive and know it's a common cold because they had it already but the work place won't let them go back without a negative test

Until somebody close to you and the unvax crew dies from Covid, you'll keep talking shit. Pray that virus does not come knocking on your door.

If you still need a booster after being FULLY vaccinated, and still need to get tested after being FULLY vaccinated, and still need to wear a mask after being FULLY vaccinated, and still get hospitalized after being FULLY vaccinated... It's probably time you admitted that you have been FULLY conned.

Reality: the vaccine is still in the trial and error process until near perfection. It will never be perfect but at present, it is working to an extent!

So you admitting that this is mass experimentation? Let them go and experiment on some rats and guinea pigs or people who willingly sign up for it. They have people who have suffered life changing adverse effects and even death and you trivializing this experiment. Wow!

    Well well well..

"Noting that it is not uncommon to see that there will be some vaccinated deaths, Dr Georges said, “But these may be because people have other issues. So we did have two additional ones [deaths] as I mentioned and I don’t want to go into any specifics, one of those is un-vaccinated"

First, you said I don't want to get into the specifics but one of those is unvaccinated? You just gave specifics. You see if the Health authorities did not start to classify the hospitalized as all unvaccinated maybe there would not be this burning question right now. The agenda was clear then as it is now. Lack of transparency and consistency leads to distrust.

Secondly, most of the persons who would have died from covid be they unvacconated or vaccinated would have had underlying or pre-exisiting conditions. So at the end of the day we need to get to the source of the problem. Are some of these pre-exisiting conditions avoidable? If so how?

Thirdly if the pre-existing condition is so significant why when they die you are classifying them a s covid deaths? If a person has cancer, pneumonia, heart and lung issues and get covid do they die from covid or with covid? Classifying persons who die with covid and depriving their families of a proper farewell is heartless as it is disturbing.

Fourthly how can you explain that you don't know if the other person was vaccinated or not and then go on to say that vaccination cannot protect you from death if you have underlying conditions?

Finally can you please advise what early treatments are being prescribed to covid patients?
