The reason why new cases will rise is because of the stupid policy which is in place allowing vaccinate persons with the virus to walk the streets when they are the ones who spreading the virus..then you have people going around giving tickets to make money.....

This is very serious for the territory. I am fully vaccinated, however, I will not throw caution to the wind. For those persons who did not take the vaccine, I will sympathize with them for they have made their own choice not to be vaccinated. If there is any serious consequence to occur, there can be no blame on the Minister of Health or the government of the Virgin Islands.

To Minister Malone, you and his staff, especially Dr. Ronald Georges, have done well for bringing the information to the public. Those who have ears heard the message and responded favorably. To those who did not take the vaccine or have hesitancy about taking the vaccine, they will do arm to themselves and families as well as the economy of the territory. The minister of Health will sleep comfortably because he has done his best and as was done when Jesus was to be crucified wash his hands off those who choose not to be vaccinated.

Many vaccinated persons are going around the place without a mask or with their mask below their nose or chin thinking that they are cured because they believe that the government has sanctioned their behavior. Pure foolishness!

I really thought we would have a short 4 day lockdown this week end. From 6pm Friday to 6am Tuesday. I think that was necessary to hault the spread and enhance contact tracing. Long lockdown is useless and not necessary...

We did everything to keep the virus out but with the newfound invincibility of the vaccinated and the cult following preaching the vaccine as the only way we throw out common sense and the seriousness of quarantine.

Allowing it to walk right in via the arriving vaccinated persons considering the previously accepted incubation period.

No lock down needed for Vaccinated persons. Or for anyone unless they have Symptoms. The vaccinated don't contract the virus at a high rate and don't transmit the virus at a high rate. They are not the ones causing the community spread. And they are protected against serious illness so for most of them it would be a common flu if infected. The Unvaccinated should be Free to move around to their own discretion but the Mask mandate has to be Enforced again with serious penalty for non compliance.

I have to agree. U making sense, We need a short 4 days lockdown of everything, incluuding Super Markets...This will hault the Spread and give wsy to contact tracing....Long lockdown aint necessary,, 4 days, After you reopen then reaccess, if need to another 4 days...People are now stepping up to take the vaccine.. thats nice. We need to move forward... Long lockdown is going backwards
