You have 7 days to remove from port - the clock starts as soon as it arrived ... yet after 8 days I'm still being told its not available.... so why do I have to pay for storage when they they ones not processing it fast enough. Should be 7 days from available, not 7 days while they ignore it.

I am always missing boxes or items from my shipment. Ports don't want to take the blame, customs don't want to take the blame and neither do the boat/barge want to take the blame. Who to blame to get compensate, NOBODY!!!

This wouldn’t be an issue if the port didn’t leave people’s cargo just sitting out in a lot or under a flimsy tent. How about having a proper warehouse for cargo and not this busted @$% ghetto operation

It is crucial that the CAP system is up and the CUSTOMS employees work efficiently to achieve this goal. It is CRIMINAL for the BVI Ports Authority to charge businesses storage what the CAP system is frequently down with no contingencies in place. The storage fees are tacked on to the cost of the goods people. Stop making it so difficult for businesses and to do business in the BVI.

How is this possible when CAPS is always down and the few days that it's up, the custom officers can't be bothered to prepare the summary until the day is almost over. Some days it even goes to the next day. Do better
