‘I agree with Supa Cop, act like a professional’- Magistrate tells lawyer
“We are all professionals! We are in a professional arena, and it doesn’t matter who we are dealing with, we must act professionally,” the magistrate told the lawyer while adjourning his matter to another date despite him and his clients being present.
Hearing the unceremonious adjournment of his matter, which was listed for sentencing, the male lawyer said he did nothing wrong to constitute the court’s decision.
“I did nothing wrong. I just came to the door. I am not going to allow him (Supa Cop) to tarnish my character and reputation,” he said.
'I will report Supa Cop too'
When the lawyer heard from the magistrate that Callwood intended to report him, he threatened to report the police officer.
“I am going to go to the headquarters and report the officer because I am a lawyer in the court and this police officer? I am going to deal with him.”
After listening to the lawyer, Magistrate DaBreo said, “I can see why the police officer said he is going to make a report because you are talking over me.”
Officer Callwood appeared to be annoyed when the lawyer stood in the open doorway at the courtroom and asked a prosecutor to join him outside in the gallery to discuss a matter.
When Officer Callwood asked him to come inside or retreat to the gallery, because the court was in progress, the lawyer told the officer ‘don’t touch me!’ in an elevated tone.
When the lawyer finally retreated to the gallery after the prosecutor did not go to him, Mr Callwood followed him to address his behaviour and then informed the court that he would be reporting the lawyer for his actions.

This is not China, Iran, North Korea nor the Philippines. This man would give his mother a ticket instead of a warning, -1 for public-police relations.
A leader is a person who cares about the people & makes room to understand another person.
All of them acting like kids as far as I am concerned. Why couldn't the magistrate pull the 3 aside and speak to them in chambers? But no she has to pull ranks in front of everybody and seemingly trying to humiliate the lawyer. Can I now think the magistrate will ever give the lawyer a fair chance in court? Officer Callwood too can be rude to people. That is a fact. he feels he can talk to people how he pleases. He NEEDS to learn professionalism or else he will continue to rub people the wrong way and just a matter of time before someone reacts in a not so nice manner. Commish teach that rude officer manners, I don't care how much money he makes for the RVIPF through traffic tickets. I don't see nothing wrong with a lawyer requesting to speak with a prosecutor outside the court proceedings. Was the lawyer making noise or doing anything in such a way to to disrupt the court? If so he should have known better. And the lawyer should have known better to hold his tongue and just do what he had to do. In summary..they all acting like KIDS!
This right here says that Supa Cop shouldve left it alone. The Lawyer already did what he was supposed to do. Supa and that Judge is Childish
courteous to each other or just hold their tongue.... Seems like the lawyer wanted to prove that he bigger than Supa Cop and Supa Cop wants to prove that he bigger than the lawyer and the magistrate wants to prove that she bigger than all of them ... To me all of them ended up been small looking small....Sad.
LOL......
