2 injured as Audi crashes into light pole @ Paraquita Bay
According to reports reaching Virgin Islands News Online (VINO), the driver of a white Audi (license plate PY 1110) vehicle lost control of the automobile and struck a utility pole belonging to BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC).
The electric pole fell on the hood of the vehicle and power in the area was also affected.
The vehicle appeared to have sustained major frontal damages.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has since confirmed the incident.
“The RVIPF can confirm a report of an accident in the Paraquita Bay area last night at approximately 10:42 pm. Details surrounding the accident are unclear. Investigations are ongoing,” the RVIPF stated today, October 19, 2020.

No one is going to drive me at a high rate of speed. Let me the %^&... out of the vehicle. I will continue to walk to where I am going.
Some fool was trying to overtake me coming to a corner and when he saw the opposite approaching TRUCK, he frantically blew his horn for me to slow down so he could squeeze past. His car could not accelerate fast enough so he braked hard so he would not end up like a pancake. Lucky for him that truck had brakes too.
